Learning the ASP.NET provider model with BlogEngine.NET
In this session, we’ll dig into the ASP.NET provider model using BlogEngine.NET as a model. In addition to some of the out of the box providers like Membership provider and Roles provider, BlogEngine.NET also uses a custom provider to make storage of data more flexible. We’ll take a look at the implementation of some of these providers as well as make our own implementation of the custom blog storage provider.
