Developing the Blueprint for Enterprise Data Architecture
Having a good blue print of the data architecture could be the difference between a successful build and a miserable failure. Many developers start with code and build their database around their code. Learn why designing the data structure first is so critical to the business and why this best practice will ensure your application is more likely to grow with the business.
Ken Lovely is a senior a developer for Harleysville National Bank. In his role he develops client/server systems and automation systems that utilize new and existing data structures. Prior to working for Harleysville he was the Director of Information Systems for a financial planning firm in Bethlehem, PA. In his 15 years in IT, he has served the roles of System Engineer, Data Architect, Developer and business owner. Ken's first program was on a Heath-Kit 8-bit 16k z80 processor which he built from scratch. Before he moved to .NET development, he has worked with PERL, JAVA, and VB.
